Welcome to my portfolio! I am a seasoned designer with a dynamic background that blends military discipline with creative innovation. My journey began with an eight-year tenure in the US military, where I spent four years refining my design skills within a Psychological Operations Unit. This role ingrained a meticulous attention to detail and a disciplined creative process in my work ethic.
Following my service, I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Web Design & New Media, gaining both a solid theoretical foundation and practical design skills. During my university years, I founded a web design company, swiftly applying my new skills across multiple disciplines including Web Design, Visual Design, Graphic Design, Interactive Design, Marketing, User Experience Design, Photography, Email Design, Sound Design, and Video Creation. This experience ignited a passion for understanding and engaging in every phase of the product lifecycle, motivating me to pursue a Master’s Degree in Industrial Design with focus on product design.
I later relocated to Southern California and entered the government sector as a contractor. Here, I designed advanced interfaces and “other projects”. Today, I continue to thrive in diverse design roles and relish the challenges they bring.
Outside of work, my passions include Apicology, Mycology, and 3D printing. I also find relaxation and inspiration while fishing from my 14-ft kayak in the Pacific Ocean, an activity that fuels my creativity and provides unique perspectives I integrate into my designs.
